New Inergas Disrupt Tripoli's Night - Date: Fri 09/10/2009

For the second consecutive night, Tripoli has been the scene of overnight security breaches as an Inerga-type rocket-propelled grenade hit a soccer stadium in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen causing only material damage. The first grenade was followed by several other grenades that hit many locations in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh rival neighborhoods.
Haret al-Saydeh and Imam Ali streets in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen were the next on the unidentified perpetrators targets list on Thursday's night.
The neighborhood's residents closed all the routes leading to Jabal Mohsen by burning tires in detest to the targeting of their area as the Lebanese Army worked on reopening the roads in collaboration with the local residents.
The National News Agency also reported that another Inerga-type rocket-propelled grenade hit Souk al-Qameh area in Tripoli's Bab al-Tabbaneh.
The fresh wave of mysterious Inergas in Tripoli comes only one night after 8 people were wounded at a cafe in Jabal Mohsen accompanied by severalsimilar incidents at separate locations of the city |
