The Armenian Lake - Date: Tue 01/09/2009 List all

A great  tragedy took place at that sorroundings which was named Çan in old Armenian language. That tragedy’s ruins couldn’t be removed for 80 years. Both witnesses and hearers of that complete desctruction summarize the event so: Hamidiye  Regiments ( military forces) sees the Armenians around as a danger for continuity of Ottoman. For that reason they arrenge a big operation.
They need also the help of muslims living around, so they promise who attend will not serve military duty, but they couldn’t find enough support. Then they used islamic propaganda and they found a partial support for their aims. Knowing themselves as the original element of that geography and without knowing what kind of a tragedy waiting for them Armenians, young- old-children, all of them were gathered and were brought to Ermeni lake, which is stil known with this name. Along this gathering and after it a disaster was lived that may be another disaster like that is rare in history.
Armenians around Çewlik and living in Çewlik was gathered and was brought to Çan that was a systemmatically well planned wildness, savageness. Like other murders, with a simple method, extreme wildness was aimed. Not to leave any sign, to kill in water or throwing into water after killing was best method for them.
Without discriminating old, young all people were gathered around the Ermeni Lake, which is stil known with this name and and I gave its photos, and like a pain they were placed into humanity’s heart.
It’ s known that two children were hidden by villagers at that time of murder. They were adopted and brought up by villagers too and it’s known that they got married and still living at the village. They also didn’t forget their fathers, ancestors, their origin.
It was not an innocent immigration rule as turks claim, but a complete destruction, murder and an extreme GENOCİDE.
